Online Calibration for Automotive MIMO FMCW Radar Systems

Project: OtherPhD thesis project

Project Details

Description

In this project, online calibration techniques for automotive MIMO FMCW radar systems are studied with the aim of improving the system's performance over its lifetime. Particularly, the phase shifters in the transmitters are in focus since their accuracies heavily influence the performance of slow-time phase coded multiplexing techniques. Performance degradations caused by uncalibrated transmitters and novel techniques to avoid these degradations without interrupting the radar sensing task will be investigated.
