Description

The Survey is about discussing four kinds of replication techniques which are suitable for an application from CSB-System AG in the technical environment of NÖM AG. The intention of using replication techniques lies in raising the fail-safetyness of the application by means of providing an off-site standby system that is being held identical to the production system. On the basis of surveying the benefits and disadvantages of the different replication techniques a recommendation was given about which one of the replication techniques is being rated as the best solution for this particular case by the Institute For Applied Knowledge Processing.
