Description
Auction systems are moving quickly towards a successful negotiation protocol in electronic commerce. A multivariate auction is a special flavour of procurement auctions (reverse auction systems), which enables one, compared to the widely-used unidimensional auction systems, to negotiate over several attributes of a product.
Mytraveldream is a web-based implementation of a multivariate auction system for tourism products. It enables the negotiation across several tourism attributes (e.g. date of arrival, room type, category, facilities and price).
