Project Details
Description
Investigation of possible applications for membrane distillation and crystallization for saline wastewater. The aim is a residual disposal of the saline water without wastewater discharge concept. The combination of membrane distillation, which is however limited by the solubility of the salts, and crystallization with the help of crystallization sterilization, membrane distillation could be the final step for a "zero-liquid-discharge".
