LION.Ranking

LION.Ranking is a project which aims at optimising the placement of the LION.cc-site (http://www.lion.cc) in the most important search engines of the WWW. For this purpose, in an initial phase, selected search engines and services as well as the LION.cc-site itself are analysed and recommendations for the textual design of the HTML-pages (text, tag-inserts...) in different areas of LION.cc are mapped.<BR> In a second phase, the adapted LION.cc web-sites are registered in selected search engines and indexes and evaluated according to their optimal placement.<BR> Based on this evaluation, optimising measures are taken in regular time intervals and the registration of the LION.cc-site in the search engines is updated.<BR><BR> Sub-ordinate targets of the project:<BR> - The given LION.CC-URLs are registered in the most important Austrian, German and international search engines and indexes.<BR> - In the list of results of the search engines, the LION.CC-URLs are placed as far towards the beginning as possible.<BR> - The particular LION.CC-areas are allocated to the matching structures of the list of indexes.<BR> - The particular LION.CC-areas are found via adequate keyword combinations.<BR><BR>
