In dem Linzer Bildungsbericht sollen durch eine standardisierte Befragung und ergänzend durch qualitative Fallstudien folgende Forschungsfragen geklärt werden:
(a) Wie wirkt sich der Kindergartenbesuch auf den späteren Schulerfolg aus?
(b) Wie wird die freie Schulwahl genutzt?
(c) Welche Effekte gehen von dem neu errichteten Gymnasium in der Solar City aus?
