Project Details

Description

The IWS Lab works on future intelligent wireless communication networks, which provide dependable and trustworthy communication services for all kinds of applications even in challenging environments. The basis to achieve this goal are advanced multi-channel transceivers with their RF and baseband signal processing. The lab is committed to exploring new concepts for real-time digital signal processing, embedded machine learning and artificial intelligence. These technologies are set to revolutionize communication systems, making them more adaptive, efficient, and capable of handling complex, dynamic environments. The overarching goal of this research lab is to showcase chips and concepts that can be used in both UE, BS and in the network, embodying the culmination of these diverse yet interconnected research areas. This represents not just a piece of hardware or software, but the integration of advanced RF design, signal processing, machine learning, environmental awareness, and intelligent networking — a testament to the lab's innovative spirit and commitment to advancing the frontier of communication technology.
