Description
The objective of the project JKU-FoDok is to
design and implement a research documentation
at the Johannes Kepler University of Linz. It
should provide mainly information about
research projects and publications. The JKU-FoDok
should make it possible to have an online
up-to-date and world-wide accessable state of
research. The data is stored in an Oracle
database and the update and retrival will be
possible via WWW browsers. Departments themselves
are responsible to maintain their data. The
ARGE-FoDok (Arbeitsgemeinschaft
Forschungsdokumentation = national workgroup for an
Austrian-wide research documentation) is
working towards a central research documentation of
all universities and research centers in Austria.
JKU-FoDok will provide data for this central resource.
