Project Details
Description
Knowledge and information are becoming the primary resources of the emerging information society. To exploit the potential of available expert knowledge, comprehension and application skills (i.e. expert competences) are necessary. In this project, we envision new strategies to enable scalable knowledge deployment without expert competences. To this end, we propose a socio-technical framework that transforms expert knowledge into a solution creation system. Moreover, we will outline how these knowledge representations could yield legal, ethical and social challenges. In particular, we will explore new business and remuneration models on knowledge (including artificial intelligence). These approaches should enable a society that benefits from its collective knowledge in a decentralised manner with vivid business models incentivising experts to make their knowledge utilisable.
