Intelligent Agents

A framework for mobile agents was created, where agents can securely move from one host to the other and are protected from each other, as well as the host from the agents. Permissions can be allocated to agents dynamically and may increase according to payment for additional privileges or decrease because of suspicious behaviour. Features and abilities of other agents are assessed according to personal experience with them and statements of other agents. For testing as well as practical usage, two example systems were created: Filtering messages according to rules (E-Mails, News, Webpages, etc) and finding the cheapest vendor for a book.
