Implementing Solar Frost Technology in Auroville and in Rural Areas of Tamil Nadu (Southern India)

The aims of the study and field-research were to 1) document the activities especially in the fields of village development, alternative technology and renewable energy; 2) to make contacts to enable the broader diffusion of Solar Frost Technology (Salor Cooling System, see www.solarfrost.com); 3) to look into the possibilities and limitations involves in implementing Solar Frost Technology in rural areas of Tamil Nadu; 4) and to develop strategies together with the Centre for Scientific Research (CSR)to ensure multiplier effects for the further diffusion of Solar Frost Technology of a high technological standard, once the prototyp has been produced.
