Project Details
Description
Goal of the rollerNIL project is to replicate complex opticals structues
– biomimetic structural
colors – using roller-based nanoimprint lithography. Master fabrication
and in-line capable
measurement systems will be investigated. To understand the process
simulations will be
performed, which will allow to detail material and process requirements.
Imprint Materials will
be adapted to the specific needs. The replication of undercut structures
in this project
represents a significant advancement of NIL and aims at demonstrting the
general possibility
to apply large area biomimetic structural colors.
