Project Details

Description

This project aimed at shortening the development time for process control applications in the steel industry by providing semi-finished software building blocks and application architectures for this area. We first re-implemented existing process control software using object-oriented techniques and then created a base of reusable libraries. The result was ProcessTalk, a suite of object-oriented application frameworks containing C++ frameworks for IPC, supervising, data management, process control, and for visualizing and editing process data at a control panel.
