Description
Goal: Plant A is a combination of thermal drying and burning of clearing sludge, in which the drum drier uses the waste energy of the burning process in the kiln. A minimal still usable part of the wasted heat energy cannot be used because of a lack of consumers.
Plant B uses solar energy for the drying process as well as partly the wasted heat energy of the burning process of the clearing sludge. The heating process takes place in a fluidised bed reactor. The wasted heat energy can nearly be used in total (overplus heat is delivered to the district heating network of the nearby biomass district heating plant).
