Description
Led by a goal-oriented procedure model, business process management is introduced in the context of the EFQM initiative in the hospital of the Barmherzigen Schwestern in Linz, Austria.
Carried by the Servicebereich Qualitätsförderung the hospital of the Barmherzigen Schwestern in Linz introduces total quality management on basis of EFQM. Within this frame the management of the processes plays a substantial role. The organizational and technical basic conditions necessary for the process management are developed by the FAW together with the customer and converted with the coworkers.

The introduction of business process management to large organizations must be planned goal-oriented and be embedded accordingly in the organization. Over the first phase of the collection of the processes outside, also the conditions for the long-term life must be created by process management, for instance the process improvement.
<br><br>
The documentation of the processes is effectively supported by the business process management tool ADONIS(R). Only by a suitable tool the modelling can be effectively accomplished by several persons. The adjustment of the tool plays a substantial role to the requirements derived from the goals and the training of the coworkers.
