Project Details
Description
The increasingly growing use of Multimedia-technologies - also with embedded devices - and the progress of Linux in these segments, suggests the demand for extensive support of Multimedia-technologies in Linux.
Some basic approaches for such technologies are already available for example in some OpenSource projects. However, certain key-technologies are often not persued by the OpenSource-Comunity.
With this project, existing approaches will be evaluated to gain an overview for the development of a Multimedia-framework, that takes into account some key-technologies of importance with embedded devices.
