Design of a regional plan on using biogenic resources for food, energy and raw material purposes focussed on the area of “Mühlviertel”

The scientific aim of this project is to deliver the base for an optimized development and use of the biogenic resources in the region of “Mühlviertel” respecting the criteria of sustainability. After the analyzing of the natural potentials of agriculture and forests in the region of interest different value added chains of biomass use should be dedected and furthrt described in their economic, ecological and social dimensions. The outcome of that analyzing process should be different scenarios of biomass application intended to be a suitable base for political and economic decisions.
