The research project "Creating competitiveness - successful in a globalized, digital world" addresses companies competing in a globalized digital world characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity (VUCA). This study aims at generating actual knowledge concerning the following questions - How can companies / firms (or groups of companies) compete in a globalized, digital world? - What strategic management recommendations are useful for which companies in a globalized digital world? The study shows, among other things, that there are models of strategic management which are mutually exclusive.
