COSIME - Continuous Simulation of Electromagnetic Compatibility in Automotive Application

Project: Funded researchEU - European Union

Project Details

Description

Innovations in the automotive area are rendered essentially through new electric systems. This leads to higher electromagnetic noise emission. In this project a new continuous EMC-simulation process will be defined. This process is based on the exchange of EMC-simulation models between car manufacturer, electronic supplier and IC manufacturer. In this way, in a very early stage of the development process new concepts (e.g. for 42V) can be evaluated using simulation. Three main tasks are carried out in this project: 1. Defining EMC-behaviour models for automotive application 2. Developing an EMC critical test set-up using the new EMC-design process 3. Developing new EMC-design concepts.
