Coordination and Service Project of the SFB on "Numerical and Symbolic Scientific Computing"

The SFB will certainly be successful only if its activities are effectively coordinated, with a focus on the all-important goal of achieving synergy of the participating research groups. This project is the instrument for organizing and managing the SFB, and provides the service for hardware and software. The SFB management includes the following responsibilities for coordination and service: * Technical and administrative coordination of all project activities * Cost controlling * Organization of Meetings, Seminars, Lectures, Workshops and Conferences * Coordination of the guest programme * Coordination of the travelling activities * Administration of the central resources * Maintaining the software and hardware * Coordinating and supporting the software development * Maintaining the homepage of the SFB * Definition of standards for deliverables and reports * Maintaining the Technical Report Series of the SFB
