Project: OtherBook project

Project Details

Description

In Austria a divorce decree often decides about further social security and protection through a social insurance. Social security legislation and marriage law here show a special connexion which cannot be explained completely and logically by historical development. Feminist law experts have claimed for reforms of the social security system for more than 20 years because of increasing problems for elderly, divorced women. In addition to Austrian reformatory efforts the german legal status is presented as one possible modell of social security after divorce.
