The special report provides a stocktaking of the scientific discussion on societal transformations, deals with the range of transformation options across five major fields of action and identifies cross-cutting issues like governance, global supply chains, innovation or finance. The analysis of agency of ensures a realistic and socially relevant analysis of challenges and implementation options for a social transformation. Karin Fischer is the lead author of a sub-chapter on globalization and global supply chains in section 4 of the report (i.e. integrated perspective on structural conditions of societal transformation).
