AMPA - Automatic Measurement Plausibility and Quality Assurance

Project: Funded researchEU - European Union

Project Details

Description

The objectives of the AMPA (Automatic Measurement Plausibility and quality Assurance) project is to create new methodologies and instrumentation for increased data reliability, monitoring and control during research and development tests. To achieve this a plausibility check system will be developed for complex measurement and testing environments consisting of a generic framework and application specific packages and will also have the possibility to largely adapt itself in the sense of "Plug and Measure". The resulting plausibility system will be adaptable to various sectors of industry and raise data confidence levels, improve product quality and shorten development cycles. Additionally, it will be open, extendable and cascadeable. Within this project it will be validated in the automotive, aerospace, electricity and alternative energy industries. Long-term perspective is to implement the system in other industries such as chemical, construction and medical industries.
