The Institute for Microelectronics and Microsensors was founded in 1985. In teaching the Institute is responsible for the fundamental electrical engineering education of the students enrolled in the mechatronics program and for advanced courses according to the currents fields of research. Current research activities focus on: * Sensors and Sensor-Systems (incl. Readout Electronics) * Micro-Systems * Fluidic Sensors and Microfluidics * Millimeterwave and Ultra Wide Band (UWB) Technology (30 - 110 GHz)
