Research and teaching in the field of electronics with a focus on computer-aided circuit and system design using hardware description languages for the modeling, synthesis, and verification of highly integrated circuits, as well as the development of functional prototypes. Transfer of know-how from internationally achieved research results in electronics and semiconductor circuit technology to industrial practice, with special emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
