Simulated pressure and temperature profiles related to extrusion experiments by Spalding et al. (SPE ANTEC 2006)

Dataset

Description

Simulated axial pressure and temperature profiles related to single-screw extrusion experiments reported by Spalding et al. [1]

The simulations were applied to the melt-conveying zones using non-isothermal network theory alongside three-dimensional nonlinear curved-channel models and two-dimensional nonlinear leakage flow models.

The simulation results serve to validate the three-dimensional nonlinear curved-channel models published alongside this dataset.
