Understanding extremes, energy and recurrent patterns in dissipative systems

  • Milan Stehlik (Speaker)

Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talkscience-to-science

Description

In many biological and chemical applications, one can be interested in understanding the energy flow of dissipative systems on infinite structures, e.g. lattices. We will provide recent results on how to properly apply extreme value theory in order to understand such complex issues.
