Corporate sustainability requires an integrative approach to measuring and controlling sustainability issues. An isolated and unsystematic application of various tools will not work because the topic of sustainability itself is an interdisciplinary topic. The effective measurement, control and communication of sustainability information requires a good interaction of different methods and actors. For this reason, the presentation deals with the topic of the management accounting and reporting perspective of corporate sustainability. This means, the topic of corporate sustainability is approached from the two perspectives of internal management and controlling and external reporting and how these topics can interact and be integrated.
