Description

By way of a meta analysis of national ICSEM (International Comparative Social Enterprise Models) working papers from Europe, North America and Australia, this paper tackles the question how the institutional context shapes the character of Cooperative Social Enterprises (CSE). It is geared towards generating preliminary propositions of how certain contextual elements interplay with the character of CSE. In the wake, it postulates several hypotheses about the relative importance of certain contextual elements.
