    Slow Food Gardens in Uganda: Presentation and discussion of an ongoing transdisciplinary research project of the Interdisciplinray Institute for Development Cooperation (IEZ) in collaboration with the Agricultural Research Institue, Makarere University and Slow Food Uganda. Community food or school gardens can not only promote easily replicable, local and sustainable solutions for food and nutrition insecurity, but can also be important tools for education and empowerment, especially women towards food sovereignty.
