Description

Metal surfaces with lubricant coating of 1.1 to 7.1 μm thickness are cleaned with
an atmospheric pressure plasma jet APPJ (Fig. 1). The cleaning process is
monitored in-situ by optical emission spectroscopy (OES) and the surfaces are
analyzed ex-situ by laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS), X-ray
photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), fluorescence measurement (FM), and
contact angle measurements (CAM)
