Description

Many applications require low power, low noise high pass and low pass filters. The Akerberg-Mossberg filter represents an effective design solution. The Akerberg-Mossberg topology allows straightforward implementation of the filter parameters however it suffers from internal instability issues. These instabilities are caused by the internal integrator. This paper presents a design methodology to implement a stable Akerberg-Mossberg filter.
