Some Useful and some not so Useful (Sub)direct Decompositions

Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talkscience-to-science

Description

Some (sub)direct decompositions are parxticularly useful. We try to find out what makes them useful. The essential feature is that one can easily go back from the decomposition to the original structure. This way back might be supplied by the Chinese Remainder Theorem, by interpolation, or by (Fast) Discrete Fourier Transforms.
