Description

The panel is linked to the publication of the book “Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation in Rural Europe” with Routledge publishing house. Based on longitudinal data collected in four European countries, the book reveals the crucial role of social entrepreneurship in innovation in rural regions and provides far reaching implications for research, practice and policy. The presented model complements network theory with the concept of strategic action fields. The publication was formally launched at the EMES International Research Conference on Social Enterprise in Sheffield with a panel discussion featuring contributions by Artur Steiner, Pablo Munoz, Ralph Richter and Richard Lang.
