The Johannes Kepler University Linz was the first University in Central Europe and accordingly in German speaking countries to offer a Statistics curriculum. A founder professor, the first graduate and one of the many successful alumni of the Statistics studies in Linz talk about past, current and future challenges of academic statistics.
