Description

The separation between State and society or between economic and political domination is considered as a main characteristic of modern capitalist States. As Russian marxist Eugen Paschukanis points out, long-term capitalist interests can be better pursued if capitalist groups don't have direct influence on the State apparatuses. However, what seems normal in central States proves to be the exception in the periphery.
