q-Series and Computer Algebra 4: Ramanujan's Partition Congruences

Description

The overall plan for the four lectures is to introduce to basic algorithmic ideas to assist research in q-series and, in particular, to the usage of corresponding software packages developed at RISC. In the foreground of the presentation we put concrete examples rather than abstract theory. Part 4 reviews some recent developments with regard to another master piece of Ramanujan: his partition congruences modulo powers of 5, 7, and 11. Algorithmically, subalgebra algorithms initiated by Silviu Radu (RISC) will play an essential role.
