Description

The presentation discusses the role of pressure and trust as a driving force for school development in the process of school inspections. Data from an online-survey including about 3000 primary and secondary principals in seven European countries is used. The contribution investigates if the conceptual model from Ehren et al. (2013) fits for different inspection approaches which differ in the amount of pressure and trust.
