Description

After an introductory part to plasmonics with metallic nanoparticles in the VIS-NIR ranges, we will focus on our ongoing research in the UV-range because of the new challenges in fields like biology, chemistry or spectroscopy. In particular, we will pay attention to metals like gallium and rhodium as candidates for this goal due to their good plasmonic performance in the UV, low oxidation tendency and excellent photocatalytic properties.
