Description

We discuss how operators with matrix coefficients can be modelled using reduction systems in tensor rings. A confluent reduction system enables effective computations based on normal forms. We illustrate this approach by the example of integro-differential operators. Linear substitution operators can be included to handle also delay differential equations.
