Description

This contribution is dedicated to the modelling and control of a particular injection process configuration with non-newtonian compressible fluids as it can be found, e.g., in the food-processing industry. First, the governing equations are derived in form of 1-dimensional partial differential equations with (spatially moving) boundary conditions. Then, we propose control strategies for selected tracking problems. In this context we follow the early lumping approach, where the controller design relies on an approximated model described by nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Simulation results highlight the performance.
