Description

In this talk, we describe the origins, the domain of applicability and the functionality of a subsystem PLURAL of the computer algebra system SINGULAR, devoted to the non-commutative computations. A very important role is played by the fast implementation of Groebner bases together with many important applications of them, which are explained on the elementary level.
