Modeling the Degradation of Relative Permeability in Soft Magnetic Materials

Description

A simple and accurate model for considering the manufacturing impact on material characteristics was presented. Two parameters, i.e., the degradation coefficient τ and the width of the impacted zone need to be determined. Application and verification using measurements, analytical, and FE-based analysis showed good agreement.
