Finding e-Solutions for the Improvement of Business Processes

Description

eSolutions are services that support the execution of business processes and can therefore contribute to the improvement of business processes. Because of the huge number of available eSolutions and the fact that individual requirements of every single business process activity have to be considered, the assignment of eSolutions to business processes is difficult. This article describes a method to detect eSolutions which are suitable to execute a specific business process. A tool which automatically assigns eSolutions to business processes as well as results from its field tests will be presented. Recommendations for investments can be deducted from the results of the assignment of eSolutions to business processes.
