Encyclopedia ALISA - main ideas and general structure

Description

Creation of interactive on-line encyclopedia on integrable systems (ALISA) has been discussed, as well as its possible structure. The first model of ALISA was presented, with a dozen of computer programms to be downloaded (later on-line computations will be possible). Possible cooperation between RISC and MIAN (Steklov Institute of Mathematics) was discussed. Cooperation Treaty between these two institutes was signed, with mutual interests in the area of algorithmic and computational aspects of nonlinear science, theory of integrable systems, and discrete wave turbulence theory. In particular, cooperation in creation and developement of Encyclopedia ALISA is planned.
