Description
The Directive 2006/32/EC proposes the integration of energy suppliers for achieving the savings targets set by the Directive. Obligation schemes, as prescribed in the Directive, exist in Europe including the UK, Italy, France and Denmark. These systems are based on different objectives, and accordingly the legislative requirements differ. The impacts of the guidelines on the program results should be clarified. For a description of the design elements (inputs) and results (outputs) the extensive European literature is used. It is shown that further qualitative research is needed to verify the dependencies.
