T1DM patients determine insulin needs using patient and daytime specific values for insulin to carbohydrate ratio (CIR) and insulin sensitivity (ISF). They are determined by skilled diabetologists using high quality data and need to be modified until good glucose control is achieved. We propose a method to automatically estimate CIR and ISF values.
