Description

In the frame of the EU (Erasmus+) funded project InSIDE, a series of trainings has been carried out aiming at building capacity to deliver inclusive distance education. Eleven universities from the Maghreb region participated with more than 50 teachers and other relevant staff members. Attendants received training on the use and creation of adapted teaching materials, accessible eLearning tools and the implementation and management of university support offices for disabled people. The challenge of this per se complex activity -objective, topic to be taught and organisation- became even more demanding due to Covid-19 related travel restrictions that made it impossible to implement the training activities in person. This paper presents the development and results reached and the measures taken to deliver this training by distance learning efficiently.
