Description

The performance of a voice assistance device is dependent on the signal processing that enhances the speech quality of a received sound field. Major undesired interferences that degrade the word accuracy are environmental noise and reverberation. The Cerebro - MultiMic Board streams up to seven channels from digital MEMS microphones and allows to switch between two different SNR performances. Recordings in different acoustic environments are performed to analyze the performance difference between normal and high performance digital MEMS microphones based on different signal processing techniques for speech enhancement.
