International Workshop on Simulation-based Engineering of Mechatronic Systems of the Institute of Mechatronic Design and Production (IMDP) of the JKU Linz with the Institute of Virtual Product Development at the Technical University Kaiserslautern and SIEMENS Corporate Technology. The workshop goal was a common understanding of crucial terms such as function and behaviour, as well as a combination of previous research results regarding processes and methodologies in the field of Mechatronic Systems Engineering.
